Battery March

I haven't said "I love you" for such a long time
Haven't touch a body, am I losing my charm?
Have the dreams of an insane inprisoned man
Wondering if the world lover is out of the question
because of the lack of condoms in my dresser

Battery boyfriend zips in and out so easy
Doesn't shake the bed, won't make me queasy
But he can't tell me stories or make me laugh
in the dark
But he can't hold me, can't smell his beating heart
it's a battery march

Bought roses for my self, cat ate the petals
buying soup for one, its so degrading shopping
but a twelve pack and a six pack in D and C
should get me a charger, relax in the room
Take a load off of my hands, and hands and hands and hands

Battery boyfriend humming out my favorite song
haven't felt this way in so very long, alone
But he can't tell me lies or make me cry
in the dark
And he can't snore until I can't sleep anymore
It's a battery march
